A bare room is a storage problem solved somewhere else. Every piece on mnmv.ae starts from the hardware, the millimetres and the linear metres, because a room that photographs empty in January and fails in February was never minimal, only new.
Push to open latches throw a front 12 mm to 14 mm on a 20 N press and lose spring force after 4,000 cycles. Finger pull rails never wear out and remove 20 mm to 25 mm from every drawer. A run of eight fronts holds a 3 mm shadow gap.
A main circulation route needs 900 mm of clear width, a dining chair needs 900 mm behind the seat edge, and passing behind a seated diner needs 1,100 mm. Furniture covering more than 20 per cent of the floor stops a room reading as empty. Bare rooms also run loud above 0.8 seconds.
Five 600 mm wall cabinets hold 750 litres, and removing the upper run deletes about 40 per cent of the storage in a fitted kitchen. Two 600 mm tall units return 1,400 litres. Worktop depth of 650 mm buys a 100 mm service zone, and extraction with no hood starts at 600 m³/h.
A drop zone shelf of 600 mm by 300 mm with one 300 mm by 200 mm tray holds the four to six objects an adult carries home. A 60 mm paper tray, one charging drawer and a 55 litre laundry basket cover the rest. The surface nearest the door fails within two weeks.
